BCee - Chameleon [Spearhead Records]

Music video

Context

This music video was created for the track Chameleon from the album Beat the System. The concept was based on transformation and adaptability, using the idea of the chameleon as a framework for a continuously evolving visual system.

The aim was to create a fluid, abstract interpretation of change that reflected both the structure and progression of the music.

Approach

I developed a visual system built around continuous transformation, using organic and fluid forms as the core visual language.

The animation explored shifting shapes, morphing structures, and evolving colour states to represent change over time, rather than relying on fixed visual scenes. The work focused on creating a seamless visual flow where each frame transitioned into the next, reinforcing the idea of constant adaptation and movement. Motion was tightly aligned with the rhythm and dynamics of the track, ensuring the visual evolution followed the musical structure.

Result

The final music video delivered a cohesive abstract interpretation of Chameleon, using continuous transformation as the central visual principle. It created a fluid audiovisual experience that translated the theme of adaptability into a structured system of evolving forms and colour.
