Music: Hold on to me - Slapvibe
Context
This project was a music video collaboration with Slapvibe, working again with director Aly Razabeig to develop a visual interpretation of the track. The aim was to create a dynamic and visually engaging piece that reflected the energy and tone of the music while exploring new experimental motion techniques within a music-led format.
The challenge was to balance experimentation with clarity, ensuring the visuals supported the rhythm and structure of the track.
Approach
I explored a range of motion and compositing techniques to develop a visual language that responded directly to the rhythm, pacing, and emotional shifts of the music. The work involved testing new animation approaches and refining how motion, timing, and visual transitions could be used to reinforce musical structure. The focus was on building a cohesive visual flow that felt responsive to the track rather than separate from it, using experimentation as a tool to enhance musical interpretation.
Result
The final music video delivered a fast-paced, visually layered interpretation of the track that combined experimental motion techniques with structured editing and timing.
It created a cohesive audiovisual experience that enhanced the energy and identity of the release while allowing room for visual exploration.
