James Heal - Titan 10 & Trufade
product visualisation/explainer film
Context
This project was a promotional animation for James Heal Instruments, created to showcase their latest textile testing equipment.
Working from CAD models, the aim was to translate highly technical industrial products into a clear and visually elevated presentation suitable for marketing and product communication.
Alongside explaining functionality, the work also focused on presenting the instruments as sleek, high-end pieces of precision engineering, helping position them as premium, well-designed products within their category.
Approach
I converted CAD data into optimised 3D models, refining geometry, materials, and surface detail to improve both accuracy and visual quality.
Lighting, framing, and rendering were carefully considered to enhance the physical presence of the instruments, supporting a sleek, high-end visual treatment that elevated the perceived quality and form of the equipment. The animation was structured to communicate function step-by-step, while maintaining a refined presentation that balanced technical clarity with strong visual appeal.
Result
The final animation delivered a clear and visually elevated product explainer that communicated both the functionality and design quality of the instruments.
It successfully balanced technical precision with a premium visual presentation, positioning the equipment as high-performance, well-crafted industrial products.
