Context
This project was a promotional piece for SSC’s coverage of the NFL Super Bowl 2023, created for broadcast and social channels.
The brief was to develop a high-impact promo that captured the scale, intensity, and cultural significance of the Super Bowl while feeling modern, bold, and visually distinctive for a TV channel audience.
The challenge was to communicate the energy of the event through motion design, typography, and 3D visuals rather than relying on traditional sports footage.
Approach
Working closely with the Creative Director, I helped develop a high-energy motion direction that combined bold typography, cinematic 3D graphics, and iconic sports imagery.
The piece was built around rhythm, scale, and impact using motion and composition to reflect the intensity and spectacle of the Super Bowl.
Every visual decision was designed to reinforce momentum and drama, creating a sense of escalation that mirrors the scale of the event itself.
Result
The final promo delivered a dynamic, visually rich campaign piece that elevated SSC’s Super Bowl coverage with a bold, modern motion identity.
It captured the excitement and prestige of the event while presenting it through a contemporary design-led approach.
